I have been working on my sweater now about 3 weeks or more. Designing it, getting the yarn, then I had to knit the bottom ribbing 3 times to get it right. I even tried a picot hem bottom. I am using Kauni from
Astrid's and size 4 circs. Here you can see a small piece of the bottom of the sweater. For Roses I am using teal mixture kauni and wine rose mixture and for the new design I am using a teal mixture for the back ground and the Rainbow kauni for the main part of the sweater. on the left is roses design, on the right is the new design.

Oh Jeanie! This is going to be wonderful. I love FI.
Jeanie, it's stunning. Your Mom is going to be thrilled! : )
This is going to be on drop-dead gorgeous sweater! i am hoping to try some of this yarn myself soon, but I don't know that I knit quickly enough to try it in a fair isle pattern - it would be a UFO for years! You do such lovely work. Your mom is going to be so pleased!
Oh WOW! I love it!
This is going to be so very, very beautiful - I can't wait to see more of it!
Cool!
How did the picot hem work out?? I'm thinking of doing that rather than ribbing - as I don't like the cinched-in look/fit of ribbing.
