I have always sewed and knitted for dolls. Love it. I have Cissy and Gene, Julia and Jackie. But they have new ones out now. 16 inch Ellowyne Wilde and 22 inch American Model are really great to knit for.
Ellowyne is on the left, she has bendy wrists too. Model is on the right and is way taller and bigger.

Jeanie, I love dolls, I have several gene dolls and a couple other different types, can't remember there names. I love them. I didn't have dolls when I was younger so I started collecting them about 10 years ago then I stopped buying them. I have the fabric and hte patterns to make them clothes but I never had the time to do it. Love to see your work
